Frozen Pies Directions

Frozen Apple Pie:

Do not thaw. Store in freezer until ready to use. Preheat oven to 400. Remove pie from platic bag and place on sturdy baking shett. Brush entire top crust with a beaten whole egg.

Bake 45 minutes. Turn oven down to 325 and bake 50 minutes more til golgen brown. (Test to see whether the apples are cooked by inserting a sharp knife throught the top of the pie: If the apples fell hard, bake a little longer.) Oven temperatures may vary so adjust time and temp as needed.

Cool about 45 minutes if you want a warm pie, 1 1/2 hours for a cool pie.


Frozen Berry Pie:

Do not thaw. Store in freezer until ready to use. Preheat oven to 400. Remove pie from platic bag and place on sturdy baking sheet. Brush entire top crust with a beaten whole egg.

Bake 30 minutes. Turn oven down to 325 and bake 35 minutes more til golden brown. Oven temperatures may vary so adjust time and temp as needed.

Pie will set in 2-3 hours.
Warm pies are deliciously runny.

Frozen Dutch Apple Pie: (Also use for Double Berry Dutch)

Keep pie frozen and in its bag.
Approximately 8 hours before dessert, place pie on your counter to thaw.(Note: Leave pie in its bag)
Preheat oven to 350
Put pie on cookie sheet
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

Frozen Pumpkin Pie:

Remove pie from bag. Let stand for 20 minutes at room temperature.

Preheat oven to 350. Bake pie for 15-20 minutes until pie is thoroughly heated. Serve warm or cooled with whipped cream or ice cream.

Frozen Apple Dumplings:

Preheat oven to 350. Place frozen dumplings on non-stick or lightly greased cookie sheet. Baste dumpling with beaten whole egg. Poke a hole through top of crust ijn the center of each one.

Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or cooled with favorite topping.

Frozen Apricot & Strawberry Rhubarb Pie:

Do not thaw. Store in freezer until ready to use. Preheat oven to 400. Remove pie from platic bag and place on sturdy baking shett. Brush entire top crust with a beaten whole egg.

Bake 30 minutes. Turn oven down to 325 and bake 35-45 minutes more til golgen brown. Oven temperatures may vary so adjust time and temp as needed.

Cool for 45 minutes - 1 hour to serve warm, 2 hours for a cool pie.
